Ingredients:
1 1/2 c cooked chickpeas or 1 15 oz can, drained and rinsed
2 T lemon juice
1 t tahini
1 clove of garlic, or 1/4 t garlic powder
dash of black pepper
1/4 t ground cumin
Instructions:
Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until very smooth. Add more liquid, if needed, to reach your desired consistency.
Recipe Notes:
Add ½ c roasted red peppers (water-soaked) to make a delicious Roasted Red Pepper Hummus.
