1/4 c. Tamari or lite soy sauce
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
2-4 dashes hot sauce (ex. Louisiana)
Tortillas or Ezekiel Tortillas
Toppings: Avocado, lettuce, tomato, and onion
Slice the tempeh to 1/4" slices.
Mix the Tamari sauce, water, liquid smoke, and hot sauce.
Place the tempeh slices in a dish with the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
Place marinated tempeh slices in a warm skillet along with the marinade and cook undisturbed for 4 minutes. Flip and continuing cooking until the marinade has cooked out of the skillet.

Make a sandwich with tempeh on toasted bread.
Crumble tempeh slices over a salad.
